Terms of Service
Last updated: March 1, 2026
By using ErrorCodex (errorcodex.net) you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site — no hard feelings.
What We Provide
ErrorCodex publishes troubleshooting guides for gaming errors. Our guides are based on community reports and our own testing, but we can't guarantee that every fix will work for every system configuration. Use the information at your own discretion.
No Warranty
All content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Modifying system settings, drivers, or registry entries based on our guides is done at your own risk. We recommend creating restore points before making system-level changes, and we say so in our guides.
Intellectual Property
The content on ErrorCodex — including text, graphics, and site design — is our original work. Game names, error codes, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them for informational and troubleshooting purposes only.
User Conduct
Don't scrape the site in a way that hammers our servers. Don't reproduce our guides wholesale without attribution. Reasonable quoting and linking is fine — that's how the internet is supposed to work.
Limitation of Liability
ErrorCodex is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of information on this site. This includes but is not limited to hardware issues, data loss, or software problems that may occur when following troubleshooting steps.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
